03:11 pm - What up!
Hey hey :]

My mixed heritage? I'm half Chinese, my dad, and half Lao, my mom. And I am proud of it. I can't speak Chinese, although I can recognize words and get maybe the gist of what is being said. I can speak Lao, but it's become broken through the years because I don't speak it as often. My mom rather speak English and perfect it more, and usually starts spitting out the Lao if I've done something wrong... ha.

I just joined LJ -- I always used xanga beforehand, but I wanted to try something new, so I'm looking for new friends! :]

And here's a question.

Has anybody ever heard about the Hapa Project by Kip Fulbeck? It really pertains to this group because it's a project that focuses on people that are part Asian or have Asian/Pacific Islander ancestry. It's a really cool project, and has sparked my interest. Maybe look into it? :D

Anyway. Say hi!! :D

Greetings and welcome! I'm half Japanese, and I had a great grandfather who was Gypsy and I totally own that because my Slovak family is super racist, even the ones who are also part Gypsy. Add me and I'll add you back.
